My journey began with rescuing and fostering animals, fostering a deep connection with nature. Now, with 8 years of experience as a nature interpreter, I bring a unique perspective to my wildlife photography.

![When winter arrives, the wetlands of India transform into a grand stage for two of the world's most magnificent aviators:
the Great White Pelican and the Dalmatian Pelican.
These incredible migratory giants travel thousands of miles to find sanctuary in our warmer waters.
While both are awe-inspiring, they carry their own distinct charm. The Great White Pelican is often seen in large, social flocks, glowing with a subtle rosy hue during the breeding season. In contrast, the Dalmatian Pelican—one of the largest flying bird species in the world—is recognized by its silver-white plumage and its iconic "shaggy" crest of feathers on the head.
These birds are vital indicators of a healthy wetland ecosystem. Their presence reminds us of the global connectivity of nature and the urgent need to preserve our water bodies. Seeing them glide effortlessly across the horizon is a winter highlight that never ceases to amaze.

Is it a pounce? Is it a jump? Or is he just showing off his desert parkour skills? This Indian Desert Fox (White-footed Fox) managed to look both incredibly handsome and slightly ridiculous mid-air.
Their curious nature often leads them into these "bouncy" moments. While it looks like pure fun, these jumps are actually a display of the agility required to thrive in the harsh desert environment. There is something so charming about a predator that can look like a supermodel one second and a "boing" meme the next!

They say hyenas are famous for their "laughter," but witnessing this Indian Striped Hyena catch a huge yawn at sunrise felt like he was personally laughing at my attempts to get a good shot! Whether he was dreaming of a funny midnight encounter or just mocking my early morning camera setup, that wide-mouthed expression was gold.
In reality, these primarily nocturnal scavengers are just winding down as the rest of the world wakes up. After a long night of patrolling their territory, the sunrise marks the beginning of their "bedtime." This misunderstood species plays a vital role in our ecosystem, and seeing them in such a relaxed, almost "giddy" state is a rare treat.

![The Long-Distance Traveler with a Short Fuse 😤✈️
Catching the first rays of the sun in the Indian grasslands, this Montagu’s Harrier looked like he really didn’t want to be disturbed. He gave me a look so sharp it could cut glass—honestly, maybe he was just grumpy from the long flight? 😂
These incredible birds of prey are Palearctic migrants, traveling thousands of kilometers from their breeding grounds in Europe and Central Asia to spend the winter months here in the grasslands of India. To witness them resting after such a monumental journey is always a privilege, even if they aren't exactly "morning birds."
Despite the "mean" expression, his beauty is undeniable. The sleek grey plumage and those intense yellow eyes create a magnificent contrast, making him one of the most striking predators in the field.

![A Golden Encounter with the Grassland Ghost
While waiting patiently for a sleeping hyena to stir, the first light of dawn brought a different, equally magical visitor. Captured here is the Indian Fox (Vulpes bengalensis), a species as elusive as it is beautiful, seen hunting for a morning meal in the "wee" hours.
These small canids are masters of disguise, their coats blending so perfectly into the dry grassland that they often go unnoticed. Despite their resilience, they face a growing and constant threat from stray dogs, which disrupts their habitat and survival.
Saving the Indian Fox is about more than just one species; it's about maintaining the delicate ecological balance of our grasslands. Witnessing this rare moment was a reminder of the quiet wonders that happen when we just stop and wait.
